ITHACA

Ithaca was born from a 2022 Husqvarna 701 Enduro.

It’s a bike built to travel to the ends of the earth, you could call it a travel-ready enduro. A bold choice, powered by a single-cylinder engine instead of a twin. The purpose of this bike is clear: to be able to go anywhere on the planet.

We chose a single-cylinder engine for its lightness. The name comes from the great travel poem by Kavafis, “Ithaca.”

It’s designed with pure practicality in mind, we haven’t added anything unnecessary. Every choice was made to ensure it’s as tough and long-lasting as possible. It carries 25 liters of fuel and has a range of around 500 km.

It has two independent fuel tanks with separate fuel pumps: if one fails, the bike keeps running. It also includes a built-in portable water purifier.

The aesthetic draws inspiration from the essence of Africa, the worlds of Mad Max and Dune, blending the organic with the industrial. Leather is used as a signature design element to add texture and contrast with the metal.

It carries awshiḥa (traditional scarves) covering the fittings as a tribute to the Berbers of the Sahara.

The deep brown tones echo the muddy trails of the Congolese jungle during the rainy season. The decals are textured to give depth to the design, and the matte finish reinforces its rugged look.

It’s a bike with a pure spirit of adventure: a light and radical nomad, capable of taking on any path while carrying everything needed to explore the world.
